Marjus Laçka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sebastian Käller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marjus Laçka having to make a save. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marjus Laçka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 81st minute Ivar Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marjus Laçka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Levander ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Albania defense, Ivar Lindqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marjus Laçka. The Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marjus Laçka should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Levander in the 95th minute of play forced Albania's goalkeeper Marjus Laçka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jörgen Levander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marjus Laçka was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sweden had played much better football throughout.
