Ian Queirós came out of the goal and Franklin Willingham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Franklin Willingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Templários MZC's Nuno Correia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Miguel Beltre hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Olívio Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bruce Nesbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bruce Nesbitt made a huge save. Franklin Willingham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Queirós having to make a save. Cyrus Crouch scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Templários MZC's Nuno Correia was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 28th minute, Miguel Beltre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolph Saunders kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Nuno Correia sped through Cosmos Soccer Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruce Nesbitt. Giovanni Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bruce Nesbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nuno Correia made the kick off in the second half. Rudolph Saunders kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Olívio Souto put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bruce Nesbitt. After a defensive mix-up in Cosmos Soccer Club's zone, Zé Roberto Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Nesbitt came out of the goal and Zé Roberto Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Templários MZC made a substitution. Romário Nóbrega replaced Giovanni Custódio. After 64 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Beltre. Olívio Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Nesbitt having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Nuno Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosmos Soccer Club's Bruce Nesbitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruce Nesbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Sampaio in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Templários MZC booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Hart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruce Nesbitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Correia went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Templários MZC had won after a very even match.
