Aníbal Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Souto in the 44th minute of play. After 48 minutes, Nuno Correia made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Real Cruzeiro FC's Aníbal Neto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Templários MZC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Correia was the one to do the kick off. Zé Roberto Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Nuno Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Templários MZC's Zé Roberto Sampaio in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 64th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Souto to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Franklin Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Franklin Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olívio Souto in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Real Cruzeiro FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jânio Figueiredo hit a great ball. Franklin Messias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Templários MZC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
