Itajaí Football Club's Paulo Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Itajaí Football Club from getting a goal against them. Paulo Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nimród Cseke in the 19th minute of the match. André Luís King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dénes Medgyesi having to interfere. Dénes Medgyesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luís King, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Piovezan in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dénes Medgyesi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 minutes, Luís Paulo de Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itajaí Football Club and the Keszi Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Paulo de Castro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Keszi Athletic's Dávid Cseke ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Mattos. Paulo Mattos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With an all-out effort, Keszi Athletic's Paulo Mattos threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ádám Balogh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute Ádám Balogh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, André Luís King mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itajaí Football Club and the Keszi Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dávid Cseke made a kick off. André Piovezan struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Dénes Medgyesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajaí Football Club. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Paulo Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nimród Cseke, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, André Luís King ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dénes Medgyesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 71st minute Dávid Cseke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nimród Cseke in the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, André Luís King cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dénes Medgyesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Keszi Athletic's Dénes Medgyesi got control of the ball when Luís Paulo de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Keszi Athletic players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
