Omar Bemabe's late challenge caught a Nonito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Bemabe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Omar Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Chucho, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Nonito FC's Amadeo Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Chucho in the 20th minute of play. Nonito FC's Alfonso Quinteros managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gilberto Astigar in the 22 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Nonito FC defense, Justino Chucho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Rocio. The Nonito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Rocio should have stopped the shot. Doriva Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Amadeo Rocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Justino Chucho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeo Rocio. Nonito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Chucho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 39th match minute, Nonito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Mitxaut to maneuver through the defense. Juan Remicio scored 0-7 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Rocio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Doriva Pimenta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Depor Alex Return fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute, Doriva Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Nonito FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Rocio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Chucho. Justino Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rocio having to interfere. Nonito FC's Amadeo Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Chucho in the 59th minute of play. Justino Chucho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Rocio having to make a save. If Justino Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Nonito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Chucho came free, but Amadeo Rocio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Rocio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Chucho in the 65th minute. When Omar Bemabe was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. A collision led to Depor Alex Return getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Omar Bemabe hit a great ball. Cirilo Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Ignazio, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nonito FC's zone, Doriva Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Rocio came out of the goal and Doriva Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doriva Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Amadeo Rocio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Depor Alex Return. Depor Alex Return's Justino Chucho got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doriva Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeo Rocio having to interfere.
