An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Fonseca in the 21st minute of play forced Grêmio Santo André's goalkeeper 莫晨洋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Saiko FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Grêmio Santo André:s goal. Zé Sabóia had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jorge Paraense's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zé Sabóia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Santo André's Jorge Paraense. But to his dismay, Jorge Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eliseu Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Saiko FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Eliseu Fonseca sped through Grêmio Santo André's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 莫晨洋. 莫晨洋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Fonseca in the 44th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseu Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Saiko FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
