Ismael Nazario Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Baiano. 13 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar de Moraes came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Nazario Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Lynch in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Tavares came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Internazionale-RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ismael Nazario Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Peres got free with Stefan Neubrandt in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Christian Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Batiste Carrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Moraes in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar de Moraes made a kick off. Batiste Carrez kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Pinho came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre got control of the ball when Alan Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alan Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ismael Nazario Serre made a huge save. Alan Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ismael Nazario Serre made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's Batiste Carrez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Nazario Serre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dany-Adams De Scheper might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Nazario Serre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dany-Adams De Scheper ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Rogelio Lynch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Nazario Serre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to Papunhas EC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Oswaldo Prado hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Valdemar de Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Neubrandt was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Ismael Nazario Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre got control of the ball when Yanek Krunev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Rogelio Lynch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Yanek Krunev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Nazario Serre came out of the goal and Yanek Krunev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Valdemar de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papunhas EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Internazionale-RS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
