Trindade Atlético Club were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Cavalcante took the corner. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Víktor Magalhães put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oséias Dantas. In the 14th minute Dagoberto Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséias Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Oséias Dantas got control of the ball when Dragoş Vâtcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Róbson Couto came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Trindade Atlético Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbson Couto couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Dracena in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséias Dantas saved Agroboys SM - CIMZ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Cléberson Munhoz got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséias Dantas was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Róbson Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oséias Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Vâtcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Oséias Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederico Negri's late challenge caught a Trindade Atlético Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico Negri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Agroboys SM - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. The tension between the Agroboys SM - CIMZ and the Trindade Atlético Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 93 minutes into the game, one of Agroboys SM - CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oséias Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oswaldo Trigo's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Trindade Atlético Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
