Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Lynch in the 3rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Internazionale-RS's Zé Sabóia threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Lynch, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Saiko FC defense, Rogelio Lynch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Sabóia. The Saiko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Sabóia should have stopped the shot. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batiste Carrez in the 11th minute of play. Eliseu Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Sabóia was a little too slow when Rogelio Lynch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 22 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Bati. 30 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Trigo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Saiko FC's Mateus Catarinense quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bati in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Gabriel Bati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dany-Adams De Scheper hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Lynch in the 39th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Internazionale-RS's Rogelio Lynch got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Internazionale-RS's Yanek Krunev was substituted for Alan Tavares. Zé Sabóia came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Internazionale-RS's Yanek Krunev. But to his dismay, Yanek Krunev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Josué Gonçalves hit a great ball. Batiste Carrez scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Fonseca. In the 92nd minute, Sixto Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute of the match Jorge-Luis Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Sabóia skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Bati in the 95th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper Stefan Neubrandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
