BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Negri in the 7th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Gil Paulista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Cícero Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséias Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Oséias Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, BURITIS FC's Vito da Mata made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oséias Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Costa. 37 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Hoffmann. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by BURITIS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cícero Breckenfeld was slow to take the kick. During this time Agroboys SM - CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. 40 minutes into the game, Cauan Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gustavo Unai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cauan Travassos's late challenge caught a BURITIS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Cauan Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Porto in the 51st minute of play. Oséias Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Paulista's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Vito da Mata hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Hoffmann came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Oséias Dantas got control of the ball when Gil Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marco Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Unai was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
