Şerif Çetinay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Valdemar de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Papunhas EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noia were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Papunhas EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernani Velloso took the corner. Ernani Velloso made a great header on Noia's corner, it was just that Papunhas EC's Ismael Nazario Serre managed to reach the ball for a save. Valdemar de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerif Çetinay having to interfere. Şerif Çetinay made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Christian Baiano sent off a good shot on target. After 46 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Valle.

The wind increased when Silviu Miclea made the kick off in the second half. Şerif Çetinay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şerif Çetinay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Baiano in the 62nd minute of the match. Noia's Şerif Çetinay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Peres in the 66th minute of play. Ismael Nazario Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fellipe Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Fellipe Meirelles put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ismael Nazario Serre. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviu Miclea got free with Ismael Nazario Serre in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gláuber Porto hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Silviu Miclea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Nazario Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Papunhas EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Ernani Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
