Eliseu Brasil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Franklin Esteves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Franklin Esteves managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Engenheiros da Vila's Eliseu Brasil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flávio Mineiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Franklin Esteves made a huge save. The corner ended in Gernando Sarmento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Franklin Esteves did a great save. After 10 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Negri. 12 minutes into the game, Cícero Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engenheiros da Vila the free kick. Agroboys SM - CIMZ:s Franklin Esteves showed great skill when he stopped Gernando Sarmento:s penalty. 12 minutes into the match, Gernando Sarmento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Franklin Esteves, 1-0. After 21st play minutes Eliseu Brasil shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Franklin Esteves and just under the crossbar into goal. Franklin Esteves made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gernando Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Gernando Sarmento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Franklin Esteves. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Eliseu Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Esteves having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Brasil in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Franklin Esteves got control of the ball when Eliseu Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Atarratze charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Atarratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Atarratze. The supporters of Agroboys SM - CIMZ booed when Engenheiros da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Eliseu Brasil made the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Engenheiros da Vila from getting a goal against them. Sérgio Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Franklin Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Jacinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franklin Esteves having to make a save. Franklin Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Régis Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Agroboys SM - CIMZ defense, Sérgio Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Esteves. The Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Esteves should have stopped the shot. Engenheiros da Vila were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Agroboys SM - CIMZ for a fine match.
