Eriberto Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Paulista in the 9th minute. When Engenheiros da Vila's Eliseu Brasil in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BURITIS FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, BURITIS FC's Gil Paulista got a free kick in the 12th minute. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito da Mata in the 14th minute of play. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With his leg Eriberto Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when BURITIS FC's Gil Paulista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Paulista got free with Eriberto Queirós in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eriberto Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito da Mata in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Eliseu Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eliseu Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Unai was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The Engenheiros da Vila fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Engenheiros da Vila's Eliseu Brasil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sérgio Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes Engenheiros da Vila's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Narciso Costa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on BURITIS FC's corner Narciso Costa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eriberto Queirós quite easily take care of the ball. Gustavo Unai came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Engenheiros da Vila's Gernando Sarmento. But to his dismay, Gernando Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rubens Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rubens Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gil Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Queirós having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Fernandez. Eriberto Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Vito da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute Gil Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, BURITIS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Paulista to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of BURITIS FC booed when Engenheiros da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsnü Ziver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Enver. Eriberto Queirós came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by BURITIS FC's Gil Paulista. But to his dismay, Gil Paulista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Eliseu Brasils short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Gustavo Unai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vito da Mata took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Queirós. Eriberto Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito da Mata in the 97th minute of play. BURITIS FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
