Simoneta FC's Hasret Şahinalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Lundgren in the 10th minute of play. Holger Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Ursino in the 12th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Homer Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Abel Umbruso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Simoneta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Umbruso couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Umbruso came free, but Holger Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Åke Lundgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hasret Şahinalp having to make a save. In the 25th match minute, Gnesta Oilers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. Simoneta FC's Hasret Şahinalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Hammarberg in the 28th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Silvio Gregory hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Simoneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Errapel. Kasper Vallman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th match minute, Simoneta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Umbruso to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Lundgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gnesta Oilers's Birger Skoglund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximino Ursino, made in the 51st minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Homer Gol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kasper Vallman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Kasper Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasret Şahinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match Gnesta Oilers got a corner. Simoneta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Liljeström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Holger Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Ursino in the 77th minute of the match. Silvio Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Simoneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Gregory. In the 84th minute of the match Stefan Dalkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hasret Şahinalp skillfully saved the ball. 85 minutes in the game Albano Soin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Enzo Ferrer. After 87 played minutes, Simoneta FC's Faustino Errapel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simoneta FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homer Gol in the 88th minute of play forced Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Vallman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hasret Şahinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gnesta Oilers booed when Simoneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gnesta Oilers fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Gnesta Oilers's Per-Åke Lundgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gnesta Oilers had won after a very even match.
