Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bartolo Leoiar made the kick off which started today's match. Férid Khalifa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Godoi in the 5th minute. Rolando Merexildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Brasil went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Matías Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Merexildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rolando Merexildo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Botafogo MZRJ's Matías Brasil. But to his dismay, Matías Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 28th minute Matías Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botafogo MZRJ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Murillo Loureiro in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Botafogo MZRJ's corner Murillo Loureiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Merexildo quite easily take care of the ball. Bartolo Leoiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Férid Khalifa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matías Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Merexildo having to interfere. With an all-out effort, PGE FC's Férid Khalifa threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bartolo Leoiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matías Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Botafogo MZRJ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matías Brasil to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Matías Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Botafogo MZRJ's Rolando Merexildo threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matías Brasil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Leoiar in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Guillermo Eguen notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa. Férid Khalifa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61stth minute of the game Matías Brasil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Férid Khalifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Leoiar in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's Matías Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Merexildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Matías Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Merexildo. PGE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 69th minute, Botafogo MZRJ's Matías Brasil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Merexildo. Rolando Merexildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Brasil in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Matías Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matías Brasil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Merexildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Matías Brasil slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Matías Brasil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Merexildo. The goal made the score 1-10. The Botafogo MZRJ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Botafogo MZRJ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
