In the 4th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Murillo Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Matías Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The coaching staff of Gnesta Oilers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Torbjörn Odeen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Gnesta Oilers's Torbjörn Odeen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Murillo Loureiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Brasil in the 94th minute of play. Murillo Loureiro made a great header on Botafogo MZRJ's corner, it was just that Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund managed to reach the ball for a save.
