In the 13th match minute, Ninjas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorden Blomme to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, San Lorenzo 11's Anders Engström threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio Bucciarelli, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Delmar Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ingemar Kaxe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Locke. San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Ninjas FK defense, Claudio Bucciarelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Engström. The Ninjas FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Engström should have stopped the shot. Egil Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egil Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Egil Jakobsson hit a great ball. Matias Chepe took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Engström. Anders Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. John Locke made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Egil Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Jorden Blomme came free, but John Locke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
