Anders Engström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Dalström in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Hans Dalström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simoneta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Dalström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Ninjas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Landin to maneuver through the defense. When Santiago Pello fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Simoneta FC's protests and gave Santiago Pello a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ninjas FK booed when Simoneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egil Jakobsson in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasret Şahinalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ninjas FK's Hugo Björck got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Dalström came free, but Anders Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Stor Stad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simoneta FC's Hasret Şahinalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Ninjas FK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Ninjas FK's Stor Stad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stor Stad in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasret Şahinalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Jakobsson in the 30th minute of play forced Simoneta FC's goalkeeper Hasret Şahinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Abel Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Hans Dalström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anders Engström. Hans Dalström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ninjas FK's Anders Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Osasun in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Santiago Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hasret Şahinalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Jakobsson in the 54th minute. Hasret Şahinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stor Stad in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stor Stad in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasret Şahinalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the game, Hans Dalström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anders Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The attack was good, but when Egil Jakobsson in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Simoneta FC's zone, Egil Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasret Şahinalp came out of the goal and Egil Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes of play, Simoneta FC's Maximino Ursino made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simoneta FC's Gualterio Iraitz was substituted for Joel Senio. Anders Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Dalström in the 80th minute of the match. After 88th play minutes Stor Stad shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Hasret Şahinalp and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil Jakobsson got free with Hasret Şahinalp in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Simoneta FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ninjas FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
