The referee showed Jânio de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jânio de Almeida hit a great ball. Ubaldo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Berggren in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Dorival de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Usub Saia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens Berggren in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Fillol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Legion Etrangere's Cyryl Chazen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Legion Etrangere from getting a goal against them. Igor Neto took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyryl Chazen. Cyryl Chazen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cyryl Chazen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Barros in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Leonardo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Cyryl Chazen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Neto in the 51st minute of play. Cyryl Chazen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Ubaldo Fillol got control of the ball when Usub Saia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When German Cano came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Green Squad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Cano couldn't finish the play. When Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legion Etrangere's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Nilmar Camargo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Igor Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cyryl Chazen having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Igor Neto made a precise shot to the right of Cyryl Chazen. Legion Etrangere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Usub Saia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marko Aalto kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Ubaldo Fillol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Berggren's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Cyryl Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Green Squad FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
