After 30 minutes Gnesta Oilers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ian Farrell who took care of the corner kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Carl Downes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, The Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinnie Backhouse to maneuver through the defense. Tim Johnstone came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gnesta Oilers's Alfred Liljeström. But to his dismay, Alfred Liljeström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Torbjörn Odeen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carl Downes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Vennerlund was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Gnesta Oilers's Birger Skoglund got a free kick in the 39th minute. Holger Vennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Downes's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Torbjörn Alin charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Ove Söderström made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Karl-Ove Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Johnstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Dahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tim Johnstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Phil Clarke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Tigers and the Gnesta Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Dahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Söderström came free, but Tim Johnstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, The Tigers's Tim Johnstone got control of the ball when Maximilian Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tris Hedges fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Carl Downes scored 3-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Vennerlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
