Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorden Blomme in the 7th minute of play. Anders Engström came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Botafogo MZRJ's Gilmar Couto. But to his dismay, Gilmar Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Férid Khalifa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorden Blomme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Férid Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Jakobsson in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Gilmar Couto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ninjas FK's Anders Engström. Anders Engström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josué Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Anders Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Botafogo MZRJ from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Gilmar Couto made a precise shot to the right of Anders Engström. Ninjas FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 35th match minute, Ninjas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. Anders Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Couto in the 41st minute of the match. Hugo Björck hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Murillo Loureiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Engström skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute, Stor Stad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Couto in the 46th minute of the match. Férid Khalifa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stor Stad's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

63 minutes in the game, Gilmar Couto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anders Engström having to interfere. Férid Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Stor Stad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Férid Khalifa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Nando Tande got a free kick in the 74th minute. Férid Khalifa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egil Jakobsson's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Anders Engström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilmar Couto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. Nando Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes, Egil Jakobsson made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Botafogo MZRJ's Férid Khalifa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Josué Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes, Ninjas FK's Ingemar Kaxe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Férid Khalifa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ninjas FK reached it. In the game's 92nd minute Ninjas FK's Ingemar Kaxe took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Férid Khalifa and thus the score was 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Botafogo MZRJ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
