Maximino Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Petri charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Petri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Petri hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Abel Umbruso scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnoldo Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hasret Şahinalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Abel Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Dalström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Abel Umbruso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pech Jam FC's Arnoldo Steven. Arnoldo Steven was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guido Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hasret Şahinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Chuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Hasret Şahinalp made a huge save. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hans Dalström sped through Pech Jam FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Steven. In the 40th minute Simoneta FC were awarded a corner. Maximino Ursino went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Simoneta FC's Maximino Ursino to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnoldo Steven despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Simoneta FC's Abel Umbruso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Steven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Chuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Pech Jam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Quinito to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Simoneta FC's Maximino Ursino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnoldo Steven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simoneta FC reached it. 55 minutes into the match, Pech Jam FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Dalström. Arnoldo Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Dalström in the 65th minute. Maximino Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Steven having to interfere. When Guido Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Pech Jam FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Chuan couldn't finish the play. Simoneta FC's Hasret Şahinalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Chuan in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Simoneta FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
