Candido Hendrickx started the match with the kick off. If Candido Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Espigão Steamrollers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Candido Hendrickx scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Patrone, making the score, 1-0. Candido Hendrickx's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pablo Patrone firmly grabbed it by the left post. Candido Hendrickx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Espigão Steamrollers's Pablo Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Espigão Steamrollers from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Candido Hendrickx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Patrone was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 31st minute of the game Fausto Ignazio made a throw-in which Candido Hendrickx played forward. If Martin Benítez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Ignazio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Waldemar Netto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pilar FC's Godofredo Lano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

54 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Hendrickx came free, but Pablo Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Manuel Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomi Neila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes, Waldemar Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espigão Steamrollers and the Pilar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Waldemar Netto got a free kick in the 59th minute. Espigão Steamrollers's Tarcisio Galvão was substituted for Leandro Gil. A collision led to Espigão Steamrollers getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Waldemar Netto hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roneixon Siqueira got free with Tomi Neila in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Tristan in the 68th minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guus Koole took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Patrone. Pablo Patrone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pilar FC's Nicanor Illan was substituted for Candido Hendrickx. In the 76thth minute of the game Luca Langoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espigão Steamrollers's Pablo Patrone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomi Neila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roneixon Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomi Neila made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Roneixon Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Nicanor Illan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pilar FC's Luca Langoni in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espigão Steamrollers's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Guus Koole came free, but Pablo Patrone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Nicanor Illan made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Patrone. Espigão Steamrollers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Espigão Steamrollers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pilar FC.
