The crowd rose to their feet as Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Tytus Orling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cai Yue Guang. That made the score 1-2 after 38 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Rareș Tatulici got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cai Yue Guang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Isăilă was the one to do the kick off. When Manuel Isăilă, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The David Abad was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Emanuele Clementi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Abad. The goal made the score 4-3. In the 87th minute Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner. Rareș Tatulici went to the cornerflag to take it. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Orling in the 90th minute of the match.

Chinese CJ Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
