Inter de Guayaquil FC's attentive Hector Andriesens managed to snatch the ball when Kajetan Nalaskowski made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. After 7 minutes of play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Kieca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kajetan Nalaskowski got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gregorio Montez. A sloppy throw-in by Celso Inguma in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Russówek's Kennet Hedlund. After a rather tough play, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Salvador Musacchio got a free kick in the 21st minute. Sebastian Hellkvist came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Russówek's Gregorio Montez. But to his dismay, Gregorio Montez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Celso Inguma made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jörn Svartengren immediately put the ball in play. In the 34th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Nalaskowski to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Kieca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Svartengren's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Kajetan Nalaskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Gregorio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 41st minute of the match. Salvador Quezada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jörn Svartengren made the kick off in the second half. Kennet Hedlund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Jörn Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daniel Kieca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Russówek made a substitution. Zbigniew Zabrzeski replaced Gustaw Tomporowski. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kajetan Nalaskowski hit a great ball. Russówek's Jakub Gdowski was substituted for Gregorio Montez. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Jakub Ziombkowski replaced Victor Morales. Kajetan Nalaskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Zbigniew Zabrzeski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sebastian Hellkvist made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Jakub Gdowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastian Hellkvist. The goal made the score 2-2. Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Gdowski in the 77th minute of play. Daniel Kieca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Ziombkowski in the 79th minute of the match. Éric Cantona scored 3-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Kieca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éric Cantona in the 94th minute of play. Sebastian Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Gdowski in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Guayaquil FC's zone, Jakub Gdowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Hellkvist came out of the goal and Jakub Gdowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Inter de Guayaquil FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
