Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cacá Mangione started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benjamin Cuss came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir. But to his dismay, Ömer Halisdemir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 9th minute of play. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matteo Gillis in the 11th minute of the match. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 12th minute of play. Kajetan Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Mangione, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Cuss made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ömer Halisdemir sent off a good shot on target. Ömer Halisdemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Cuss having to make a save. With a little luck, Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss got control of the ball when Ömer Halisdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Kenny Anson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ömer Halisdemir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Cuss came out and tried to block the shot, but Ömer Halisdemir slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. Olimpiu Dragnea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matteo Gillis in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajetan Dec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when Goo Goo Dolls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gianluca Infante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Halisdemir. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ömer Halisdemir in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Cuss saved Goo Goo Dolls from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Ömer Halisdemir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Cuss. Goo Goo Dolls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ömer Halisdemir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Halisdemir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ömer Halisdemir notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss. Benjamin Cuss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Ömer Halisdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Cuss was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Benjamin Cuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 61st minute of the match. Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 64th minute of play. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Ömer Halisdemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benjamin Cuss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Goo Goo Dolls made a substitution. Teddy Ball replaced Dom Rusby. In the 75th minute of the match Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a corner. Goo Goo Dolls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sixten Gernberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sixten Gernberg made a great header on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner, it was just that Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss managed to reach the ball for a save. Benjamin Cuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 81st minute of the match. When Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goo Goo Dolls's goalie prevented a goal. Zawisza Bydgoszcz made a substitution. Răzvan Brădean replaced Ömer Halisdemir. After 95 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Bochinski. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goo Goo Dolls players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zawisza Bydgoszcz.
