Jerome Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Vieri in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Green Hell F.C. got a corner. Witney City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alkis Semertzidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christian Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jerome Canning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerome Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Vieri in the 8th minute of the match. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 10th minute of play. Fernando Prassov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Hurren in the 12th minute of the match. Witney City's Jerome Canning proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Witney City from getting a goal against them. Jerome Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Vieri in the 15th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Christian Vieri sped through Witney City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerome Canning. Green Hell F.C. were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Witney City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alkis Semertzidis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alkis Semertzidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerome Canning quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stan English's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Prassov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stan English came free, but Fernando Prassov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Christian Vieri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerome Canning. Christian Vieri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerome Canning narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Jerome Canning successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Grigoris Grigoriadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri in 43 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jerome Canning guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 44th minute Christian Vieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Canning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Vieri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Sándor Fenyvessy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Canning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Vieri in the 58th minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Witney City getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Igor Kyulafliyski hit a great ball. Christian Vieri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerome Canning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Vlassis Kasimis hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Vieri in the 72nd minute of play. Grigoris Grigoriadis scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerome Canning, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Witney City's zone, Grigoris Grigoriadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerome Canning came out of the goal and Grigoris Grigoriadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Grigoriadis in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Witney City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Hurren to maneuver through the defense. Jerome Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Grigoriadis in the 82nd minute of the match. Gercho Bozhev charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gercho Bozhev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Green Hell F.C. booed when Witney City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gercho Bozhev didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Witney City's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Vieri came free, but Jerome Canning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Grigoriadis in the 90th minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Canning came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Hell F.C.'s Christian Vieri. But to his dismay, Christian Vieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Vieri in the 93rd minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Green Hell F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alkis Semertzidis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Vieri in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerome Canning saved Witney City from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Green Hell F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
