Sebastian Deissler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Deissler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Riquelme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Kielce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelco FC the free kick. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of Dynamo Kielce booed when Chelco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Raymon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Pellegrini in the 63rd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Baldomero Rufio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dynamo Kielce's Zbyszek Jarosiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Silviano in the 79th minute of play. Julian Silviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
