In the 36th minute, Stan English fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tim Johnstone, passed just outside the right post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Hurren to make the kick off. Kelvin Atherton made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Witney City's Tommy Bond. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Kelvin Atherton got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute, Stan English got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Darius Hamer hit a great ball. Witney City were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after The Tigers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Bond took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tommy Bond got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tim Johnstone quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Witney City's Jerome Canning got control of the ball when Tris Hedges tried to sneak it across the goal line.
