The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Duro de Roer AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Swanson came free, but Benjamin Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Duro de Roer AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Hurren came free, but Benjamin Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerome Canning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Lluques in the 11th minute. Benjamin Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Hurren in the 13th minute of play. Stan English received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Benjamin Pacorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Tim Hurren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Duro de Roer AFC's Benjamin Pacorro. Benjamin Pacorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Witney City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mark Timmins hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Lluques in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerome Canning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerome Canning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Ekain in the 28th minute of the match. Leon Swanson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Celedonio Ekain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jerome Canning made a huge save. Jerome Canning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Lluques in the 32nd minute. Stan English recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Tim Hurren made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Duro de Roer AFC's Benjamin Pacorro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Arsenio Lapurdi made a precise shot to the right of Jerome Canning. Witney City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Hurren in the 45th minute of play forced Duro de Roer AFC's goalkeeper Benjamin Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Duro de Roer AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Witney City were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Hurren to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Witney City's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Lluques came free, but Jerome Canning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Hurren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Benjamin Pacorro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan English in the 54th minute of play forced Duro de Roer AFC's goalkeeper Benjamin Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duro de Roer AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Stan English scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Pacorro, making the score, 1-4. Leon Swanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Pacorro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Timmins got free with Benjamin Pacorro in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Maties in the 71st minute of play. Jerome Canning came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Duro de Roer AFC's Celedonio Ekain. But to his dismay, Celedonio Ekain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. When Leon Swanson fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Witney City's protests and gave Leon Swanson a yellow card for diving instead. Leon Swanson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Celedonio Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Witney City's Tim Hurren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Pacorro. That made the score 2-5 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Stan English who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Duro de Roer AFC's Benjamin Pacorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Stan English left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Witney City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Witney City's Stan English got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Ekain was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Celedonio Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Trey Rowe hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Witney City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Duro de Roer AFC.
