The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Dragnea in the 4th minute of play forced Pech Jam FC's goalkeeper Alonzo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Dragnea scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea got a free kick in the 7th minute. Matteo Gillis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alonzo Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Goo Goo Dolls booed when Pech Jam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Kirchler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Dragnea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alonzo Arce, 2-1. 17 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Dragnea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alonzo Arce. Olimpiu Dragnea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Fábio Quintal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alonzo Arce. Pech Jam FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dom Rusby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alonzo Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dom Rusby in the 32nd minute. Olimpiu Dragnea kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Pech Jam FC's keeper Alonzo Arce was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 33 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Dragnea lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Alonzo Arce. 37 minutes into the match, Pech Jam FC's goalkeeper Alonzo Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matteo Gillis. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Olimpiu Dragnea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Argyris Papapetrou made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Cuss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute, Matteo Gillis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Goo Goo Dolls booed when Pech Jam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Dragnea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Alonzo Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Dragnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dom Rusby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Quintal hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Gianluca Infante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonzo Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Argyris Papapetrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benjamin Cuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Goo Goo Dolls players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
