Sebastian Deissler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kajetan Dec having to make a save. In the 11thth minute of the game Sebastian Deissler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sixten Gernberg in the 14th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dynamo Kielce's goalie and right to Lucjan Marchefka. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dynamo Kielce's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sebastian Deissler struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. When Sebastian Deissler came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Dynamo Kielce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Deissler couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Deissler came free, but Kajetan Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Diego Armando Riquelme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dynamo Kielce and the Zawisza Bydgoszcz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zbyszek Jarosiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Deissler in the 74th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
