In the 6th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmin Négrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Ibañez came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 12th minute of the match. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Georgescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Santa Margarita defense, Dudu Georgescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Nordström. The Santa Margarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Nordström should have stopped the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Georgescu made a kick off. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but Firmin Négrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Icardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firmin Négrel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Icardi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Icardi in the 95th minute of play forced ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Firmin Négrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Icardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Santa Margarita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
