The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Margarita's zone, Maximo Villamarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pontus Nordström came out of the goal and Maximo Villamarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawid Ratulowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Red Reign's Ismael Blanco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pontus Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dawid Ratulowski was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Villamarin made a kick off. With a little luck, Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski got control of the ball when Gerardo Lordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 69th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 70th minute when Witomir Pisarczyk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With his leg Dawid Ratulowski managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Red Reign was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Hera didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Icardi. Mauro Icardi in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dawid Ratulowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dawid Ratulowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Icardi in the 90th minute. Armando Hera hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Villamarin in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santa Margarita's Andreas Landgren got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Red Reign fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santa Margarita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
