When Baran Sarka came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ríver Late fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baran Sarka couldn't finish the play. In the 14th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Lee to maneuver through the defense. If Leopoldo Jacinto Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ríver Late made a substitution. Espiridion Ascot replaced Leopoldo Jacinto Luque. The wind increased when Espiridion Ascot made the kick off in the second half. Waldo Renteria struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Geovani de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascade Park West. Geovani de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldo Renteria, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 92nd minute Dimas Barrientos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Skytt came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espiridion Ascot in the 97th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Ríver Late failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
