Santa Margarita were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Aioros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo De Francesco took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eduardo De Francesco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Beat Vid quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 20 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Beat Vid narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerardo Lordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Beat Vid made a huge save. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Beat Vid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Lordi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Andréas Hasselqvist sped through Aioros FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beat Vid. Beat Vid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andréas Hasselqvist in the 31st minute. Bento Chandeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Nordström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The corner led Aioros FC's Domingo Perón to fire away a dangerous shot which Pontus Nordström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Lordi made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Witomir Pisarczyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pontus Nordström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bento Chandeiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. Aioros FC's Jose Miguel Núñez was substituted for Bento Chandeiro. Beat Vid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Landgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Witomir Pisarczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Axelsson got free with Pontus Nordström in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witomir Pisarczyk in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beat Vid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 85th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Beat Vid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Miguel Núñez in the 91st minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Miguel Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Miguel Núñez got free with Pontus Nordström in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Nordström made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Anton Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. Aioros FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
