In the 16th minute of the match GG Team FC got a corner. Lupi Grigi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bo Dyken ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led GG Team FC's Alvise Cerrone to fire away a dangerous shot which Bianco Altobelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th minute Miguel Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Altobelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Borja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bianco Altobelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Cristoforo Di Silvio hit a great ball. Miguel Borja's late challenge caught a Lupi Grigi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Borja helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GG Team FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Borja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Borja might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bianco Altobelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Borja ran back to his position shaking his head. Bianco Altobelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Borja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Borja scored 3-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bianco Altobelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GG Team FC made a substitution. Dave De Bartolo replaced Miguel Borja. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by GG Team FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bianco Sforza was slow to take the kick. During this time Lupi Grigi's players had a chance to rest. Bianco Sforza made a great header on Lupi Grigi's corner, it was just that GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini managed to reach the ball for a save. Bianco Altobelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave De Bartolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave De Bartolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bianco Altobelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GG Team FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lupi Grigi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
