SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save SLB TELHA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Vilaça in the 13th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Vilaça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Sena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Leiria having to make a save. SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luiz Fabiano Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Leiria made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Luiz Fabiano Sena sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes of play, SLB TELHA's Valério Vilaça made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Fabiano Senas short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Bernardo Leiria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Bernardo Leiria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena. Alexandre Barbosa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bizard FC's Caco Damião was substituted for Luisinho Tasso. Bizard FC made a substitution. Genaro Valdemoro replaced Sebahattin Üsküplü. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valério Vilaça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 63rd minute, when SLB TELHA's Adão Maia after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Ademar Fernandes in Bizard FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Bernardo Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Zaracho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Ribas. In the 69th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valério Vilaça to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fabiano Sena scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Leiria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of SLB TELHA booed when Bizard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute SLB TELHA were awarded a corner. Adão Maia went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Bizard FC's Guga Zaracho got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Luiz Fabiano Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 86th minute of play forced SLB TELHA's goalkeeper Bernardo Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luís Ribas hit a great ball. SLB TELHA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Bizard FC had won, even though SLB TELHA had held more of the ball.
