The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuele Kunz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Dávid Radics stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Dávid Radics tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bánk Madaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bánk Madaras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hias Nüssli was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bánk Madaras in the 11th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bánk Madaras succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Kristóf Somlyai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 17th minute of play forced Átkozottak's goalkeeper Tibor Simicska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bálint Papp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Átkozottak's Bánk Madaras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hias Nüssli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Átkozottak were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Switzerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Szegh took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Bánk Madaras advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hias Nüssli got control of the ball when Bánk Madaras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bánk Madaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. With his leg Hias Nüssli managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Átkozottak's Bánk Madaras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Átkozottak's Hias Nüssli threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bálint Papp, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Gábor Antal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Soma Sipos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Átkozottak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Átkozottak fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Switzerland. Samuele Kunz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tibor Simicska. 3-1. After 46th play minutes Bánk Madaras shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Hias Nüssli and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bánk Madaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristóf Somlyai in the 54th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Átkozottak's corner Norbert Szegh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hias Nüssli quite easily take care of the ball. If Bánk Madaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bánk Madaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dávid Radics took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hias Nüssli. Hias Nüssli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Bálint Papp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bánk Madaras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hias Nüssli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Átkozottak were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Switzerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norbert Szegh took the corner. Norbert Szegh made a great header on Átkozottak's corner, it was just that Switzerland's Hias Nüssli managed to reach the ball for a save. Átkozottak's Bánk Madaras got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 72nd minute of play forced Átkozottak's goalkeeper Tibor Simicska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Bánk Madaras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Bálint Papp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hias Nüssli was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, Bálint Papp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dávid Radics made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer. In the 83rd minute of the match Norbert Szegh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hias Nüssli skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fridolin Neumeister hit a great ball. Norbert Szegh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jacinto Maurer hit a great ball. Átkozottak's Ádám Gaál was substituted for Kristóf Somlyai. After a rather tough play, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bánk Madaras in the 96th minute of play. Átkozottak's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
