If Hernan Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ilulea FC's Benedicto Jakes in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ulan Bator Football Club's Klaus Snyers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Herrera in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Ulan Bator Football Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ferdinand Pelsers hit a great ball. Hernan Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Snyers having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ulan Bator Football Club defense, Benedicto Jakes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klaus Snyers. The Ulan Bator Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaus Snyers should have stopped the shot. Benedicto Jakess short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Klaus Snyers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Klaus Snyers managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Ilulea FC's Benedicto Jakes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benedicto Jakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klaus Snyers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Jakes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Jakes in the 39th minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Klaus Snyers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Constantijn Van Deyck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's Constantijn Van Deyck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Rik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantijn Van Deyck to make the kick off. A collision led to Ilulea FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Freddy Cordaryal hit a great ball. Constantijn Van Deyck's late challenge caught a Ilulea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantijn Van Deyck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ilulea FC booed when Ulan Bator Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantijn Van Deyck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaus Snyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Cordaryal in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Ilulea FC got a corner. Ulan Bator Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddy Cordaryal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ilulea FC's Freddy Cordaryal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Klaus Snyers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Klaus Snyers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Cordaryal went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Klaus Snyers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Jakes went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Fidel Rik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Van Deyck in the 74th minute of the match. Hernan Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilulea FC's Leonardo Azibar pulled a muscle in his back after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ilulea FC made a substitution. Denis Crispo replaced Leonardo Azibar. Arnold Haesevoets hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ilulea FC's Benedicto Jakes got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the referee ended the match the Ilulea FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
