Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Hartz in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Enzo Emenon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santos Hori saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Zeledon Dino got a free kick in the 13th minute. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Emenon in the 14th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Enzo Emenon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Howling Dawn U18's Santos Hori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Dino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Dino in the 21st minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Dino in the 22nd minute of play. When Enzo Emenon came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Emenon couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Natal charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Natal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Dalmacio Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Hori made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Enzo Emenon sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Moises Hartz. Samuel Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Bittor in the 35th minute of the match. When Juan María Traverso fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Juan María Traverso a yellow card for diving instead. Juan María Traverso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 38th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Samuel Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan María Traverso kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Espiridion to make the kick off. Fidel Espiridion kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Zeledon Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Natal in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Juan Bittor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Matxin. Juan Bittor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Howling Dawn U18 defense, Moises Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Hori. The Howling Dawn U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Hori should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's Marcelo Barrionuevo was substituted for Arnulfo Burutzagi. Dalmacio Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, Howling Dawn U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Guter to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Ildefonso Guter got a free kick in the 85th minute. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Veronica in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Bernard in the 92nd minute of play forced Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 100 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Bernard. Deportivo Mandiyu were awarded a corner in the 101th minute after Howling Dawn U18's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arturo Veronica took the corner. Fidel Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 102nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Veronica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 105th minute of the match, but Santos Hori made a huge save. Richard Tavares hit a great freekick 109 minutes into the match. The Deportivo Mandiyu players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Fidel Espiridion to make the kick off. With his leg Samuel Matxin managed to avoid a goal in the 117thth minute, when Howling Dawn U18's Fidel Espiridion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Samuel Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

When the match had been going on for 135 minutes, Howling Dawn U18's Fidel Espiridion got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Samuel Matxin. In the 137th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Mandiyu. Arturo Veronica stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santos Hori. 3-2. Deportivo Mandiyu:s Santos Hori showed great skill when he stopped Florencio Fernendo:s penalty. Florencio Fernendo shot a long shot in the 138th minute and a light blocked Samuel Matxin hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-3. When the match had been going on for 143 minutes, Deportivo Mandiyu's Constantino Sein got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Santos Hori. The referee gave Howling Dawn U18 a penalty, 144 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Godofredo Bordat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Mandiyu's Samuel Matxin. 4-4. The goalkeeper, Santos Hori, was totally fooled by Deportivo Mandiyu's Richard Tavares, who 146 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Howling Dawn U18 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Mandiyu.
