In the 7th minute Benedito Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Umberto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Mineiro came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes, Guillermo Miliano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galáctico Azul FC™ and the Castanheiro SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Guillermo Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Cardozo. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Guillermo Miliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Jose Tiso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedito Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Anísio Alagoano took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Belasko. Enrique Belasko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Enrique Belasko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Jose Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Umberto Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Belasko having to make a save. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Casimiro Ellande was substituted for Gaspar Magdaleno. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Célio Vianna got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Maximo Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Alagoano came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Belasko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Alagoano in the 76th minute. Umberto Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Enrique Belasko made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Umberto Dionísio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Enrique Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 92nd minute of the match. Enrique Belasko came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano. But to his dismay, Anísio Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Castanheiro SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
