BRASIL.Sp's Samuca Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Vieira in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Silva. If Zé Roberto Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. BRASIL.Sp's Horácio Ferraz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 15 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Peres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BRASIL.Sp the free kick. After 17 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Silva. Zé Roberto Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Samuca Freitas made a huge save. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Horácio Ferraz hit a great ball. If Sandro Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Samuca Freitas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by BRASIL.Sp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hílton Guedes was slow to take the kick. During this time Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Hílton Guedes to fire away a dangerous shot which Samuca Freitas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giuseppe Arantes was slow to take the kick. During this time BRASIL.Sp's players had a chance to rest. Sandro Meirelles came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Samuca Freitas could save by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's José Vítor Xavier was substituted for Eurico França. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Vítor Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Cristiano Mendes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Tiago Gabriel Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Meirelles came free, but Samuca Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of BRASIL.Sp:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nova Erechim - FSCMZ:s goal. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Zeca Rosado replaced Horácio Ferraz. Samuca Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Figueiredo in the 81st minute of the match. Sandro Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when José Vítor Marinho sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the game, Zeca Rosado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Juan Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
