The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedrinho Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Magdaleno went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Enrique Belasko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd minute, Umberto Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Belasko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute, Fellipe da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Maximo Cutberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrinho Guimarães skillfully saved the ball. Clemente Cardozo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Magdaleno in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho Guimarães saved Castanheiro SC from getting behind. Enrique Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 39th minute of the match. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 44th minute of play. Umberto Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Enrique Belasko made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Umberto Dionísio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Castanheiro SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Galáctico Azul FC™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
