Pepino’s booed when Al-Fajuth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Abad to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Abel Vidal fired a really elegant long shot, but Tanio Chavez threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Tanio Chavez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 38th minute. C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Reyes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Furlan. Jonathan Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Eliseu Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the game, Eliseu Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Tanio Chavez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Javier Astete to maneuver through the defense.
