The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Sobarzo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Lázaro Sobarzo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute, C.D. Pepino’s's José Javier Astete dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Tanio Chavez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidoro Romeu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, C.D. Pepino’s's Gustavo Albages made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Cepa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lázaro Sobarzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Cepa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lázaro Sobarzo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute Laureano Donallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanio Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidoro Romeu to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Gustavo Albages in the 44th minute really tested Lucas Cepa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sporting Buceo's Lucas Cepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Albages in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Donallo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If José Javier Astete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the game, Gustavo Albages cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lucas Cepa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Cepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Albages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eudoxio Alvadalejo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eudoxio Alvadalejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eudoxio Alvadalejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gustavo Albages came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the C.D. Pepino’s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Albages couldn't finish the play. Sporting Buceo's Eudoxio Alvadalejo got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Eudoxio Alvadalejo off the ground. Eudoxio Alvadalejo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Tanio Chavez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.D. Pepino’s's Gustavo Albages got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.D. Pepino’s walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
