The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Monte Hermoso Beach defense, Wilson Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Lorien. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Lorien should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Célio Albuquerque hit a great ball. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Monte Hermoso Beach's Fidel Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Alagoano in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Wilson Matorin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fidel Lorien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamin Arotza hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Honorio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Vidal struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Fidel Lorien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Fajuth. Fidel Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Matorin in the 37th minute of play. Eliseu Alagoano took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Lorien. Fidel Lorien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Fidel Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Arias to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Eliseu Alagoano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fidel Lorien saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 54th play minute Eliseu Alagoano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fidel Lorien. 0-4. In the 66th minute, Amadeu Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Al-Fajuth's Fidel Lorien threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eliseu Alagoano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Eliseu Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Monte Hermoso Beach's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wilson Matorin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sidnei Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseu Alagoano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Fidel Lorien made a huge save. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Lorien should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Bilintx came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fidel Lorien, 0-6. Fidel Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Fidel Lorien didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Al-Fajuth were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
