In the 9th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Donallo to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Eliseu Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lucas Cepa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Blai Zarandona hit a great ball. Al-Fajuth's Abel Vidal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucas Cepa but with some difficulty. 17 minutes into the match, Wilson Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Cepa. Sporting Buceo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 21 minutes, Amadeu Furlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Fajuth and the Sporting Buceo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Furlan. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Donallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Wilson Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Cepa. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Cepa should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Eliseu Alagoano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Lucas Cepa. Lucas Cepa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Cepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agostinho Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Cepa having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartoleme Ceja to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Donallo to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Amadeu Furlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Célio Albuquerque hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nardo Tuo in the 62nd minute of play. Lucas Cepa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Eliseu Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucas Cepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Alagoano in the 94th minute of the match.
