An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Albages in the 30th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Jonatan Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Lico in the 31st minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Tanio Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Reyes hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Domenico Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Erubiel Bilintx replaced Marco Bixintxo. 57 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Bastian came free, but Tanio Chavez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Hermoso Beach's Jonatan Enekoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Monte Hermoso Beach from getting a goal against them. Tanio Chavez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Fraco in the 59th minute of play. Tanio Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Bastian in the 90th minute of the match. After 91 minutes, Erasmo Rodriguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monte Hermoso Beach and the C.D. Pepino’s players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Erasmo Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 minutes, Balendín Tineo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. Pepino’s and the Monte Hermoso Beach players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Balendín Tineo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the C.D. Pepino’s defense, Gregorio Bastian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanio Chavez. The C.D. Pepino’s fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanio Chavez should have stopped the shot. Bonifacio Fraco charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Fraco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute, Bonifacio Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.D. Pepino’s players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monte Hermoso Beach.
