Vivaldo Brito made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Basarab Irod sent off a good shot on target. Basarab Irod in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vivaldo Brito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 5 minutes into the game, Argir Stariradev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gigel Tilea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 8 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Tâbârnă in the 13th minute of play. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dušan Vlahović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Vivaldo Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 28th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Mihai Tâbârnă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ got a corner. Academia Rio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robin Bergman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Argir Stariradev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gigel Tilea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mihai Tâbârnă came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihai Tâbârnă couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Argir Stariradev made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argir Stariradev in the 47th minute of play.
After 51 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Jean Oltean. After having played for 52 minutes, Mihai Tâbârnă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Tâbârnă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergiu Coșeriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Argir Stariradev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Sefa Boran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal and Sefa Boran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Gigel Tilea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dušan Vlahović. Vivaldo Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Mihai Tâbârnă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 93rd match minute, Academia Rio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Giubelean to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Argir Stariradev lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Gigel Tilea. When the final whistle sounded ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Academia Rio.
